The largest tracking room offers the most acoustically reflective space which nicely colors recordings of acoustic instruments like orchestral strings, woodwinds, brass, or drums. The padded room is about the same size as the treated room and has a more open sound, suited to the recording percussion and guitar amplifiers. A remote display LCD monitor on an adjustable stand permits a performer to see the realtime track view of a live session (immensely useful to vocalists), which can also be used to display lyrics from the control room for visual feedback. The treated tracking room offers an acoustically tight / focused response and doubles as the vocal recording space. The room's centerpiece is its Presonus 32-channel digital console and its array of LCD displays, flanked by a pair of Adam Audio monitors.
